Robot Autonomy and Interactive Learning Lab

Robotics-related research: The RAIL lab focuses on robot learning from demonstration (LfD), where robots can learn new tasks from demonstrations or instructions provided by a human teacher. Our work sits at the intersection of algorithms to increase robot autonomy and interactions that make robots usable in the real human environments, or at the intersection of AI and HRI. Our projects cover many research topics, such as trajectory learning, semantic reasoning, perception, teleoperation, and crowdsourcing.
